    Tour Descriptions 

    • Transportation Past & Present – 1st grade
      Explore time gone by and relate it to the present through our transportation rides in Camp Snoopy! Students will learn about transportation methods of the past and compare them to today’s methods. By experiencing forms of transportation via air, land, and water, students will explore how each was important to the period in which they existed.

     

    • Early American Heritage – Recommended 5th grade and up
      Our nation's history comes to life with our Early American Heritage tour. In our replica of Independence Hall, students will meet America's Founding Mothers and Fathers, such as Abigail Adams and Benjamin Franklin. They will also examine early American artifacts such as the Liberty Bell and our nation's first flags.

      To celebrate our nation’s 250th Anniversary, step inside our replica of Independence Hall and journey back to the founding of our nation with our reimagined Early American Heritage tour. Students will meet influential figures such as Benjamin Franklin and Abigail Adams, explore replicas of iconic artifacts like the Liberty Bell and our nation’s first flags, and take part in engaging activities that deepen their understanding of history. From a hands-on Constitution activity to a lively scavenger hunt, every moment is designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding.

     

     

    • Early California and the Old West – Recommended 2nd grade and up
    Let our Ghost Town transport your students back in time as they explore what life was like for the early residents of California and the Old West. While showcasing the diverse people who made up our communities, this tour will give students the opportunity to meet a variety of individuals, such as Nancy Kelsey and a Fur Trapper; as well as learn how these different groups of people contributed to the creation of California and other western states.

    Bring history to life with an immersive journey through our Ghost Town, where the spirit of early California and the Old West still lingers. This engaging educational tour highlights the diverse communities that shaped the region, offering students a hands-on look at frontier life.Your group will visit our authentic Schoolhouse, meet our resident Blacksmith, and encounter a Fur Trapper who’s just passing through town! Along the way, students will discover how different cultural groups contributed to the development of California and the western United States.

    Just like the pioneers who forged their way westward, you get to choose your own adventure through history. Each tour includes three foundational stops: our “Trusty Hitchin’ Posts.” From there, you’ll select three additional “Journey Outposts” tailored to your curriculum and interests. For more information click HERE.

     

    • Energy in Motion – Recommended 2nd grade and up
      Science comes to life with our rides and Knott’s Berry Farm! Our Energy in Motion tour utilizes our varied selection of rides and roller coasters, giving you the opportunity to discuss subjects such a centrifugal force, mass, inertia, and more while you experience how each concept relates our rides.

    ** Please Note: In order for participants to meet the height requirements of the rides, our Energy in Motion tour is divided into three versions. 2nd/3rd grade – 4th/5th grade – 6th grade and up.

    • Availability: Monday – Saturday (No Saturdays on holiday weekends)
    • Times: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm OR 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
    • Price: $53/person and $55 during March - May
    • Details: 
      • Includes admission to the park
      • Minimum of 15 people required
      • As this is a special ticketed event, season passes do not apply.
      • Parking: $40/buses and $35/vehicles
    • Food Policy: Unopened and empty water bottles, baby food and food for guests with special dietary restrictions are permitted. No other outside food, drink or snack items are permitted in Knott's Berry Farm or Knott's Soak City. However, sack lunches can be brought in backpacks. We are not able to accommodate coolers nor do we have anywhere to store sack lunches.
  • Booking Information

    • Tours must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance.
    • You must receive an invoice to consider your date reserved.
    • Please allow 3 – 5 business days for confirmation.
    • Dates may not be reserved over the phone.
    • Please put your preferred and alternate dates on the order form in the next steps. If your dates are not available, we will respond with alternatives.
  • Chaperones

    • One chaperone is required for every 10 minors.

    • Chaperone must be 18 years or older.

    • A chaperone is required to remain with any minors who do not wish to ride a roller coaster.

    • Please note uncooperative chaperones could lead to immediate cancellation of the remainder of your tour.

    Chaperone Requirements

    • Assist our Tour Guides in keeping the group together.

    • Be respectful and engaged with the tour. Avoid cell phone use.

    • No eating, drinking (except water,) smoking or shopping while on the tour.

    • It may be necessary to stay at First Aid with an ailing child.

    A list of chaperone names and cell phone numbers is due one week before your visit. The form will be provided after booking.

  • Payment

    • Full payment is due prior to your visit. We cannot accept payment the day of.
    • LAUSD: Please note we are not an approved LAUSD vendor. LAUSD students may not ride our rides during school hours. Therefore, all LAUSD schools must provide payment 60 days prior to the visit date to prevent last minute cancellations due to non-approval.
